Voice is the quality of a verb that indicates whether its subject acts (active voice) or is acted upon (passive voice)

Voice is two types:

  1. Active Voice
  2. Passive Voice

Active Voice

This is an example of an Active Voice sentence because its subject performs the action expressed in the verb

Example: We drink milk

 Passive Voice

The Passive Voice is used to show interest in the person or object that experiences an action rather than the person or object that performs the action

Example: Milk is drunk by us
