Lauren Conrad, former star of MTV show The Hills, will launch a new reality series on the network that will follow her career as a fashion designer.

Conrad began her reality television career at age 17 with the MTV series Laguna Beach, named after her hometown. She went on to star in The Hills, its spinoff, and has since become a fashion designer and author. Conrad launched a line of casualwear with Kohl’s department stores in 2009.

Conrad told Seacrest filming on her new show has not yet begun and that it is set to follow her career in Los Angeles. When asked for fashion tips, she said jeggings, a hybrid of jeans and leggings, and chunky “knits”, or thick sweaters, are currently in style and that she constantly cleans out her closet, sometimes finding forgotten but trendy items.
